Ministry News for February 2, 2018

Restoration Times

The January-February edition of the Restoration Times is now available to read online. In this issue we review what the Bible says about Passover and the error behind Easter. We also examine the importance and benefits of fellowship and why going it alone is not the best option. In addition, we continue our discussion of the real temple mount, including evidence of Yahshua’s prophecies of the temple destruction and an in-depth look at Fortress Antonia and the Roman X Legion. We will be mailing copies to our financial supporters in the coming days as a token of our appreciation.

Building Update

This week YRM continued making progress on our multipurpose building. Ryan Mansager and Lucas Cecil worked on the electrical and plumbing for the communal bathrooms. Also, local members Deacon Steve Reed, Ed Thompson, and Gary Hornickel met to discuss the fabrication of the bunk beds for the lower lodge rooms. In addition, Midwest HVAC is nearly finished installing the heating/cooling equipment on the lower level. It is our hope to complete the communal bathrooms and the 5 lower lodge rooms by Passover. This would allow for additional facilities for this upcoming observance. It is also our goal to finish the upper rooms by the Feast of Tabernacles. Please consider helping with this important project. Give Now >>

Join YRM for Passover and Unleavened Bread

We warmly invite you to this year’s Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread in Holts Summit from the evening of March 31 – April 8. Those who partake of the Passover emblems must be baptized into “Yahshua’s” name by an ordained minister, which, for those interested, we can provide on the Sabbath before the Passover. These observances promise to be a blessing for all in attendance. We have scheduled several worship services, Bible workshops, and activities, including roller skating, bingo, board games, an afternoon on the Katy Trail, open gym time, and several group meals.  In which book does Paul state that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom?

A. John
B. Romans
C. 1 Corinthians
D. Galatians

Paul in 1Corinthians 15:50 states, “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of Yahweh; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.” This statement by Paul confirms that (1) those in the first resurrection will be changed from flesh to spirit and (2) this change is required for those who will be given access to the Kingdom. Revelation 20:6 verifies that those found worthy will also reign and rule with Messiah as a kingdom of priests within the Millennium.

Baptism - Yahweh's Restoration Ministry

Ministry News for January 26, 2018

Recent Baptisms
Brother James Evans recently found YRM through the Internet and journeyed from Ireland for baptism into Yahshua’s name and to learn more about the faith. Last Sabbath we were blessed to witness his dedication to Yahweh through immersion. When he returns home, he plans on being a light to those in Ireland. Being the son of a preacher, he plans to witness to many of the ministers in Ireland regarding Yahweh’s truth. Pray that Yahweh pours out a special blessing upon our new brother in Messiah and that he finds much success in his future endeavors. In addition to James’ baptism, we were also very blessed to witness the immersion of Sister Jessica Martin. She traveled from Mississippi for this important commitment. Please keep Jessica in prayer as she strives to follow Yahweh.

Building Update
This week YRM continued making progress on our multipurpose building. Ryan Mansager and Lucas Cecil continued work on the electrical and plumbing for the kitchen and communal bathrooms. A local plumber assisted with the installation of the eight showers and the two instant hot water heaters. In addition, Midwest HVAC continued making progress installing the heating/cooling equipment for the lower level of the building. It is our hope to finish the communal bathrooms and the 5 lower lodge rooms by Passover. This would allow for additional bathrooms and lodging rooms for this upcoming observance. Depending on funding, it is also our goal to finish the upper rooms by the Feast of Tabernacles. Please consider helping with this important project.

What is Paul speaking about in 1Corinthians 10:25?
A. Pork and other unclean meats
B. Eating with unwashed hands
C. Food previously sacrificed to idols
D. None of the above
This passage is referring to foods sold in markets that were previously dedicated to idols. This is not speaking about pork and other unclean meats. Since Paul states here and in other passages (e.g. 1Cor. 8:4) that idols are nothing, eating biblically sanctioned meat that was previously dedicated to an idol is not prohibited. The only caveat is if eating the meat might cause another brother to stumble, 1Corinthians 8:9. For example, if the “weak brother” previously worshiped the idol that the meat was dedicated to, perhaps this would cause offense for this new brother who doesn’t yet understand that these idols are man-made and inconsequential.

Yahweh's Restoration Ministry - Year in Review

2017 Year in Review: Reaching New Heights

Greetings in the Names of our Heavenly Father and Savior, Yahweh and Yahshua the Messiah!

We begin by offering a heartfelt thank you to all those who supported us in 2017. Your generosity allowed YRM to reach many more with Yahweh’s truth.

This was a year of amazing Internet and electronic outreach growth for YRM. With our transition from national TV to more internet-based broadcasting, we can report many successes. The most notable achievement was on YouTube. We’ve had a YouTube channel since 2013 and we have been gradually adding subscribers and views to our channel. However, this year we made a quantum leap in both subscribers and viewing minutes. We added more than 28,000 subscribers with 4.2 million views.

This has given our YouTube channel more authority. This means that YouTube lists our videos nearer to the top when someone is searching for related keywords. Perhaps the best example is the recent interview that Elders Randy Folliard and Don Esposito did in Israel on the real temple mount location. When searching for “temple mount” on YouTube, this video appears as number one out of about 1.1 million. As a result of this ranking, YRM has been contacted by two documentary producers for possible interviews, one being associated with the History Channel.

In addition to YouTube, we have also made strides on Facebook and our video-on-demand channels, including Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV, and Android TV. On Roku, this year we had over 3.6 million watched minutes with 451,643 total views. For those who have these platforms, you can add our channel free of charge by simply searching for “YRM” or “Yahweh’s Restoration Ministry.”

Another accomplishment is from the 2017 Feast of Tabernacles. This was the first year we observed this Feast at our home facilities in Holts Summit, Missouri. While there were a few lessons learned, overall the Feast was a huge success. With about 200 in attendance, everything went off without a hitch. The worship and messages were inspirational and insightful, the activities were fun for all ages, and the meals left nobody wanting.

We plan to again observe all Feasts here in Holts Summit in 2018, including the Feast of Tabernacles. While we will make a few minor changes to the schedule, it will be similar to this past year. One significant difference between last year and this year is that we hope to finish our multipurpose building before Tabernacles. In addition to the gym, which is nearly completed, this facility will include a lodging portion containing two communal bathrooms with showers, communal kitchen with a small dining area, and 26 lodge rooms split between two levels. The lodge rooms will be approximately 10’x10’ in size with two bunk beds in each room. Some rooms will have a door between them to accommodate larger families.

To save on funding, the Ministry will do most of the work ourselves with Ryan Mansager leading the effort and assisted by Lucas Cecil. It is our hope to finish the communal bathrooms and the 5 lower lodge rooms by Passover and to have the lower kitchen and the second level rooms finished by the Feast of Tabernacles. Please consider helping with this much-needed facility. This will not only be a blessing for the Ministry throughout the year, but especially for the annual Feast days, providing critical lodging during these times. To give or learn more, visit us online.

In closing, we warmly invite you to this year’s Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread in Holts Summit from the evening of March 31 – April 8. As a side note, those who partake of the Passover emblems must be baptized into “Yahshua’s” name by an ordained minister, which, for those interested, we can provide on the Sabbath before the Passover. These observances promise to be a blessing for all in attendance. We have scheduled several worship services, Bible workshops, and activities, including roller skating, bingo, board games, an afternoon on Katy Trail, open gym time, and several group meals. To learn more or to register, call the ministry or visit yrm.org/passover-2018.

Once more, we humbly thank all those who gave to YRM in 2017. We pray that Yahweh’s blessings would be poured out upon all those who support this work and live according to His Word. Malachi 3:10 provides this promise, “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith Yahweh of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

Remembering the Feast of Tabernacles 2017

Out of 18 years of Feast observances, this was the first year YRM observed the Feast of Tabernacles at our home facilities in Holts Summit, Missouri. From all accounts, it was a tremendous blessing and success. Many commented on how they enjoyed the many in-depth messages, the activities, and the several meals that the Ministry provided. A first-time Feastgoer with YRM commented that this was their best Feast in 32 years of Feast-keeping. In addition to being our largest Feast to-date, we had 24 states represented, including: Oklahoma, Michigan, Texas, Missouri, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida, Virginia, Illinois, Tennessee, Minnesota, Alabama, California, Ohio, Washington, Arizona, Wisconsin, Indiana, Iowa, New York, Colorado, North Carolina, and South Carolina. We also had brethren join us from Canada, Nigeria, and Kenya. One of the highlights was the eight baptisms that we were blessed to witness, including a husband and wife from Nigeria.  If you were unable to join us this year, we invite you to next year’s Feast. It will again be held at our home facilities and will be from the evening of September 24 – October 2. Below are a few personal testimonies from those who joined us:

“My very first Feast of Tabernacles has got me feeling very emotional with tears in my eyes. I met so many wonderful people at YRM, plus I got baptized into the name of Yahshua. I fell in love with the people who were filled with genuine love for the brethren and I must say that leaving the Feast felt like I was leaving my family behind. The emotions I feel are unexplainable, this to me is one of my highlights of the feast, to be surrounded with people who are genuinely serving and seeking Yahweh. I look forward to next year’s FOT, as I long to spend time with all my new brothers and sisters again in the faith.” – EO, Nigeria

“I loved the feast this year! Where else can you find spiritual messages, abundant, and good food, amazing fellowship, nightly campfires, and just a lot of fun and laughter? The feast at YRM! I personally connected with new friends and felt very blessed to have had that experience.” – GB, Missouri

“This year’s FOT at YRM was awesome. The part I loved most was the way my grandchildren responded. They had a great time. They were all excited to participate in whatever came up. My eldest even sang on stage. That was thrilling. None of them wanted to leave.” – DG, Texas

“The feast was awesome this year! Met new people and played some games. One of the best parts of the Feast was being able to watch my kids play and make new friends. Also was able to spend time with the family. Praise Yahweh for all things!” – MM, Missouri

“Really enjoyed the feast this year. I believe it was the best ever. Wonderful messages, wonderful fellowship. Could not ask for better food. Very positive atmosphere, the whole feast. Made some new friends from other countries. The motel folks were so friendly. I hope to attend many more. I found out that flying was easier on these old bones, hope I can continue. May Yahweh bless all.” – HB, Alabama

“A truly awesome Feast of Tabernacles! This was the first time YRM hosted Yahweh’s Feast of Tabernacles in Holts Summit MO. If something was missing, it sure wasn’t obvious. The people who are local to the assembly worked extremely hard to make everything enjoyable. Many others volunteered to provide necessary support. It’s a blessing to serve.” – RT, Canada

“We are truly blessed to have YRM in our life. This was only our third Feast of Tabernacles and they keep getting better. The love and fellowship that is shared by all is a life-altering experience. Thank you to all for all your wonderful messages and work that you do. May Yahweh continue to bless each and every one of you.” – MM, Michigan

“My favorite part of the Feast was witnessing the family-like environment and the many who joined us from throughout the nation and abroad, including from Kenya and Nigeria! It was a wonderful Feast with many memorable moments. The messages, fellowship, food, and activities were phenomenal!” – RF, Missouri

“As this was my very first feast, what a privilege it was to honor our Heavenly Father in such a way that involved fellowship and family. Such a blessing I will never forget! Thank you YRM for hosting this special appointment! May Yahweh continue to bless the work you do.” – CF, Virginia

“YRM did an awesome job!!! Many thanks for all your hard work and willingness to serve the brethren!” – LA, Missouri

“It was the best Feast our family has had yet. Looking forward to the next!” VA, Missouri

“A wonderful Feast for sure! Thank you to all at YRM for your hospitality and hard work!” – AK, Iowa

““It feels like home,” one Feast-keeper said of our first Tabernacles observance at our facility in Holts Summit. “It is so convenient to get here, less than two miles from town, and yet we are still in the wilderness,” a brother added. “I love that my offerings will be used right here and not go to some other camp,” a sister said. As we plan improvements to make future Feasts even better, we are grateful for the many who came and who made Tabernacles 2017 the success it was. Surely Yahweh was pleased. – AM, Missouri

Report on Hurricane Harvey Relief (9/08/17)

This last week, Brothers Ryan Mansager and Amos Campbell from Yahweh’s Restoration Ministry met brethren from Reach for Yahweh International Ministries, Shalom Assembly of Yahweh, and Assembly of Yahweh (7th day) to help in the Houston area in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. The crew spent the week removing drywall along with other water-logged and damaged material from homes. In total, the crew was able to provide assistance on eight homes. Helping those in need is a cornerstone of the Messianic principle that Yahshua and the disciples taught. For those wanting to help toward this relief effort, you can donate to RFY at reachforyahweh.org/give-serve-change/give.
