Twin Sabbaths This Weekend
The Feast of Weeks, Pentecost, will be this Sunday, May 31. The Sabbath service will have outdoor worship for the second and perhaps final time. The Pentecost service and all future Sabbath services will be conducted indoors. We praise Yahweh for uninterrupted worship on His Sabbaths through the “lockdown.” All services are broadcast electronically @ yrm.org./live
Requests for Baptism Growing
We have had several baptism inquiries and requests recently. As our outreach grows the need for immersion follows a conviction of the Truth. We look forward to welcoming new brethren into the body of Messiah. Between Facebook and YouTube there are nearly 200,000 followers of YRM. Praise Yahweh!
May-June Restoration Times on Hold
The next issue of the magazine is delayed as our press has suffered a breakdown. The part has been ordered, but is hard to find. Our press is obsolete and the service contract is running out. We have been looking at a new unit while we try to get as much mileage as we can from our aging press.
RSB Fourth Edition Progressing
We just received word that the Restoration Study Bible should arrive at YRM the end of June or first part of July. Many have been patiently waiting for the Bible since our supply of the third edition ran out several months ago. We believe that this new edition with its many new features is worth the wait. Pray that there will be no holdups.
Your Support Is a Blessing
We are grateful to those who are supporting YRM’s ministry in its many endeavors. None of it could be accomplished without your contributions. True hearts are being shown even with a sputtering national economy. As Yahshua reminds us in His beatitudes, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again,” Luke 6:38, RSB. Praise Yahweh for His blessings.

Feast of Firstfruits in Two Weeks
Those on our regular mail list should soon receive a short study on Pentecost and its meaning. The Holy Spirit was made generally available on this Feast and the law was given at Mt. Sinai to Israel and all who would take hold of the covenant. As always, we will broadcast our twin services that weekend, both Sabbath and Pentecost, May 30 and 31.
New Moon May 23
Be sure to look for the new moon on May 23 and report it on our New Moon Network page if you sight it: https://yrm.org/new-moon-network . At 31 hours old and 11 degrees high, this new moon of the third month should not be difficult to see, weather permitting. Seven reported sighting the second-month new moon.

Who were the Samaritans and why did they and the Jews share a mutual animosity?
A. They were good people who always helped those suffering on roadsides
B. They were part of the 10 tribes looking to reunify with the two other tribes
C. They were transplants from other nations who settled north of Judah
D. They were those who had kind words for Yahshua and His message of hope
The Samaritans occupied the country formerly belonging to the tribe of Ephraim and the half-tribe of Manasseh. Their capital city was Samaria, which became the name of the country. When the northern ten tribes were carried away captive to Assyria, the king of Assyria sent people from Cutha, Ava, Hamath, and Sepharvaim to replace them (2 Kings 17:24; Ezra 4:2-11). These foreigners intermarried with those remaining of the ten tribes. The Samaritans embraced a religion that was a mixture of Judaism and idolatry (2Kings 17:26-28). Samaritans were generally considered “half-breeds” and were universally despised by the Jews. They resisted the rebuilding of Jerusalem’s walls under Nehemiah; they built their own temple in opposition to Zerubabbel’s Jerusalem Temple; outlaws from Judea were given sanctuary in Samaria; and the Samaritans acknowledged only the Torah and not the rest of Scripture. The Jews avoided them (John 4:9).

Meeting the Way Yahshua Did
This Sabbath will be a first when we hold services in the sunny outdoors at our open-air amphitheater. We invite the local brethren to join in worship after many Sabbaths of quarantine watching online. The landscape at the back of the meeting hall makes an ideal place for gatherers, as they bring their Bibles and chairs. We will broadcast live as usual for others to join in remotely. This Sabbath’s message will be “Mysteries of the Temple, Ancient and Future.”

Donation Receipt and Letter in Mail
Those who sent in tithes and offerings in the first quarter of the year will soon receive a report of their giving. A donation letter will be included, giving a brief update of the work of YRM.

Major Milestone Is Reached in Outreach
We now have over 100,000 subscribers to our YouTube channel. This outlet has proved to be one of our most successful outreach media in our repertoire. We hear from many who say they first encountered YRM through YouTube videos. Check out our YouTube channel here!

Silver Lining in Online Worship
We all miss gathering to worship on the Sabbath, as we are directed to do in Hebrews 10:25: “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Yahweh knows that worshiping together lifts our spirits, encourages, and strengthens our walk while exhorting others, keeps us in tune with the lives of the brethren, and most importantly, is blessed of Him. Yahweh’s Restoration Ministry is full-service, being both a local ministry answering to the needs of the brethren, and also a ministry with a large, diverse, and far-reaching media outreach developed over the past 15 years. Our years on national television helped hone our presentations as well as technical abilities. With this experience we were well-positioned to transition exclusively to online worship when the pandemic necessitated it. Because we are filling an important void among believers, Yahweh has blessed us with a big upsurge in online participation. A case in point: in just two days we had 18,000 views of our Passover service, even with no advertising to promote it. Regular viewership of our live Sabbath worship has increased by more than 33 percent since then. The total watch time of our Youtube videos as of today translates to 65 years, for which we praise Yahweh. At no point during the pandemic did we entertain the idea to shut down altogether and will continue doing Yahweh’s work so long as He gives us breath and the ability. We look forward to the time we can come together again as a body honoring His Name. We are thankful for the many who have supported us through the years and through this pandemic as well.
Workstation Fund More than Halfway to the Goal
The fund to upgrade our workstation computer continues. This machine is used for our videos, publications, online needs, and other office tasks. It has given many years of service but is gradually failing, especially at critical times, causing lost time and frustration. A new system is at minimal $10,000. All help is appreciated. Donate here>>
Backhoe Needing Major Overhaul
YRM’s John Deere backhoe has been at the shop for a week anticipating major repairs. We await a cost estimate to mend the machine. Upkeep of our building and grounds makes this versatile piece of equipment indispensable. You can donate toward the repairs here>> (Simply mention in the note on your donation that it is for the backhoe.)

Why did Yahshua tell Mary not to touch Him in John 20:17?
A. He had not yet ascended to the Father
B. He would fulfill the firstfruits wavesheaf offering
C. He suffered from anthrophobia
D. Both A and B.
Yahshua instructed Mary not to touch Him because He had yet to ascend to His Father as a fulfillment of the Old Testament wavesheaf offering, symbolized through the first fruits of His resurrection to eternal life. We further explain in the Restoration Study Bible, “Yahshua was the firstfruits of the spiritual harvest. Just as the firstfruits wavesheaf of the barley harvest was waved on the day after the weekly Sabbath falling during the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Lev. 23:11), Yahshua was presented to His Father on the same day. He had not yet ascended, therefore He told her not to touch Him, meaning to hold Him back, which in the Greek meant, ‘to fasten one’s self to, adhere to, cling to.'” Correct: D
“Time has a way of giving us perspective on what’s really important.”

RSB Covers Arrive This Week
The three cover options for the 4th edition of the Restoration Study Bible were sent to the office this week for our approval. The Premium edition is rich black cowhide; the Designer is a leather-like cover with the Hebrew Tetragrammaton down the left side as in the 3rd edition Designer; the Outreach paperback has a high-gloss, laminated cover with a photo of a menorah carved in stone, captured by Russ King on a YRM trip to Israel. All Bibles have the same inside content, as before. We have kept the cost at rock bottom, making the RSB with its three books in one volume the best value anywhere. We expect to take delivery of the Bibles in early June. To see more of what’s new in the 4th edition go to: https://yrm.org/rsb4 To see the covers up close check out this video!
Lockdown for Two More Weeks
YRM is adhering to the governor’s pandemic guidelines and will continue Sabbath services online. The local congregation has been patiently worshiping online as well. After two more Sabbaths, however, we plan to hold services outside providing the weather is suitable.
We are also limiting attendance for Pentecost on May 31 to only those who are local to Holts Summit. Yahweh willing, we hope to see everyone at the Feast of Tabernacles in October.
Need Continues in Workstation Upgrade Fund
We thank those who have donated toward the upgrade of our workstation computer. This machine is used for our videos, publications, online needs, and other office tasks. It has given many years of service but is gradually failing at critical times, causing lost time and frustration. Any help you can give is appreciated. A new system is at minimal $10,000. We are currently over halfway there! Donate here>>
Backhoe Needing Major Overhaul
YRM’s John Deere backhoe has given its all for the last 15 years and has proven reliable. But it is now in need of major repairs. This indispensable machine has been used in numerous ways: in the construction of the entire Holts Summit facility; in the upkeep of our roads and parking lot in summer and winter; in moving  pallets of Bibles when delivered to the offices; in handling tons of trash; in clearing trees on the property, and in countless other ways. It was taken to a shop this week and we anticipate a large bill for the repairs.

When does the count to Pentecost begin?
A. On the conjunction of the first month Abib
B. On the day after the first High Sabbath (Abib 16) within the Feast of Unleavened Bread
C. On the day after the weekly Sabbath within the Feast of Unleavened Bread
D. Nobody knows; the determination was lost along with the pronunciation of Yahweh’s Name
Scripture states that the count begins “from the morrow after the Sabbath” (i.e., weekly Sabbath). The Restoration Study Bible in its note on Leviticus 23:15 further explains, “The Feast of Weeks (Heb. Shavuoth) or Pentecost is the third of the seven annual observances. This Feast is 50 days from the wave sheaf (vv. 10-11), which was offered on the day after the weekly Sabbath that fell within the Feast of Unleavened Bread (vv.15-16)

RSB 4th Edition Proof Copy Received
This week the printer sent us for review a proof “block” of the Restoration Study Bible, 4th edition. This newest version, which will be our last for a while, has many enhancements, improvements, and additions, as shown in a comparison chart in the March-April Restoration Times magazine, also available on our website. Even though our supply of the 3rd and all other editions is exhausted, we continue to get daily inquiries and orders for the RSB. We pray that the pandemic situation will not hinder the production of the new RSB. The projection for delivery of the Bible to Holts Summit, barring any unforeseen delays, is for early June. New additions can be seen here>>.
Gratifying Participation for Passover and FUB
The extraordinary Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread just observed was unlike any other with its social distancing, but still those who honored these moedim via our online worship report great blessings. More than 400 devices were connected to the Passover service electronically, and thousands more joined afterward through our many media platforms. With an average of two (or more) persons on a device, the involvement from around the world was a blessing. We were one of the few Sacred Name groups memorializing the Passover service this way and have since seen a significant uptick in inquiries to YRM from many who had not made contact with YRM previously. We continue to hold Sabbath services online and invite you to join us at 1:30 p.m. central at http://yrm.org/live/

When Yahweh called Jonah to go and warn Nineveh of their sins, what did Jonah do?
A.     He immediately agreed and left that night
B.     He went to a neighboring town down the Damascus road
C.     He booked passage on a ship sailing the other direction
D.     He joined Hosea prophesying at Cyprus
The following is from the Book of Jonah in the Complete Biblical Library: “Nineveh was approximately 500 miles east of Palestine. Jonah fled in precisely the opposite direction as he attempted to go to Tarshish—thought by many to be Tartessus in Spain. This was about 2,000 miles west of Palestine and one of the most western ports of call on the Phoenician sea trade routes.”
Answer: C
“The law doesn’t save you, I do,” says Yahweh. And who does Yahweh save? Those who obediently keep the law, Matthew 19:17. The law gives us direction in life. Without it life is aimless and bleak.

RSB 4th Edition

We are excited to announce that the world’s only Holy Name study Bible just got better— and we mean a lot better!

We are happy to report that the new fourth edition Restoration Study Bible (RSB) is a great leap in quality and biblical understanding over any previous version since the inception of the RSB 11 years ago. Release of the latest edition is expected soon.

To say the compilation of this Bible has been a monumental project is an understatement. The evolution of the RSB has been a remarkable

effort by many believers of Yahweh’s Restoration Ministry. Its scholarship represents over 200 years of combined study in the Word, beginning many decades before what is known as the Hebrew Roots movement came into existence. Some of the experts contributing to the RSB began keeping the annual Feasts, Sabbaths, eating Kosher and preaching the name of Yahweh over a half-century ago. The studies and footnotes in the RSB reflect proven, time-tested scholarship, often employing Hebrew and Greek source languages.

Now you can benefit from the in-depth knowledge of the RSB to help you grow exponentially in biblical understanding. Comments we receive from those who order the Bible are always the same: “There’s so much information I can’t put it down;” “I found so many truths in this Bible that I was never taught;” “Now I have answers to all those passages that had confused me.”

New Features: Easier to use, higher quality, more durable construction, expanded topical guide (120 pages) with full references, many additional footnotes, many more teaching charts, more than double the archaeological charts, genuine cowhide cover, cut-out finger tabs for locating Scripture, extra ribbons for place holding, stitched binding. With three different cover choices, there will be an RSB to fit your needs and budget.

Returning features: Three books in one, including Strong’s Hebrew and Greek dictionaries at the back with words defined and keyed to every significant word in the English text; brief introductions for every book. This is a value unavailable anywhere else.

Note—The third edition is now depleted and this fourth edition is currently being printed. Please check back with us for future announcements of availability.
