Hebrew Scholar Dr William Barrick of the Masters Seminary refutes the erroneous name Yahovah (Jehovah) and uses Hebrew grammar to prove why this name is nonsensical and should be discounted as valid in every way possible. He shows how the vowels (Nikkud) for Adonai have been misinterpreted to form the fake, hybrid, made-up name Yehovah using Kativ Kere. He gives a detailed explanation how heretical Alexandrian Jews (the very ones that translated the Septuagint) removed the name Yahweh for Kyrios (the lord) around 250BCE out of a misguided understanding of the 3rd commandment. These Alexandrian Jews have influenced not just Judaism but Christianity as well and this is why you see "lord" in your Bible and not Yahweh. Dr. Barrick also explains why the name Yahweh is preferred in modern scholarship and should be reinserted in the Old Testament and Old Testament references in the New Testament.
