Passover / Feast of Unleavened Bread 2023

Passover 2020REGISTER HERE>>

Yahweh’s Restoration Ministry invites you to 2023 Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread (Chag HaMatzot) at our own home facilities in Holts Summit, Missouri. The Passover Memorial will be observed on the evening of April 4th and the Feast of Unleavened Bread from the evening of April 6th-12th.

These days are commanded by Yahweh and offer many lessons and insights into His Word. The Passover marks the death of the firstborn of Egypt and the death of Yahweh’s only begotten Son, Yahshua the Messiah. As a special note, those who join us for the Passover Memorial must be baptized by an ordained minister into the Name of “Yahshua” to partake of the emblems. Yahweh required circumcision for those who partook of the Passover in the Old Testament, Exodus 12:44, and Paul explains in the New Testament that circumcision is no longer of the flesh, but through baptism into Yahshua’s Name, Colossians 2:11-13.

In addition to the Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread is the first of three annual pilgrimage Feasts and is a time of not only removing the physical leavening, but also the spiritual leavening from our lives. This Feast also commemorates the offering of the wave sheaf (first fruits of the barley harvest) in the Old Testament, Leviticus 23:14-15, and the Messiah’s resurrection in the New Testament, 1Corinthians 15:23.

Worship and Activities

To honor our Father Yahweh we will have worship services along with Bible studies throughout the Feast, including on the High Days and weekly Sabbath. We will also have several activities throughout the entire celebration. See schedule HERE>>

Lodging

For lodging, we have 27 dorm rooms in our activity building, a campground with 12 RV sites with full hookups, and several tent sites, all available for a donation. You must register to secure a dorm, RV or electric tent site (registration will be available early 2023). Please note that smoking is not permitted on assembly grounds, including the campground.

There are also hotel options in Jefferson City, MO, 10-15 miles from the Assembly. For more information on lodgings, or any other general inquiries, go online or contact the Ministry toll-free at 844-899-6438. Also, see our Plan a Visit page.

 2018 Feast of unleavened breadMeals

While meals will be the responsibility of individual Feastgoers, there will be several group meals and a basic continental breakfast on a few mornings throughout the Feast. Remember that no leavening is permitted at YRM during the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

Airport and Bus Connections

The closest airport to Holts Summit is the Columbia Regional Airport. However, it may be more affordable to fly into St. Louis or Kansas City, Missouri. For those taking Greyhound, the closest depot is in Jefferson City, MO. Due to the distance from the assembly, visitors flying into Kansas City and St. Louis airports will need to provide their own transportation or schedule a pickup and drop-off by Mo-X shuttle service from the airport to the pickup location in Kingdom City. You can reserve a ride online at moexpress.com or by calling (877) 669-4826. If advance notice is given to YRM, the Ministry will provide a shuttle from Kingdom City to Holts Summit.

Background Checks

For the safety of the assembly, especially our children, the Ministry will be conducting background checks through SMART for all those 18 years and older. The Ministry reserves the right to request official identification upon arrival.

Dress Code

To ensure proper respect during worship times and modesty throughout the Feast, we request that the following guidelines be honored: during worship times, men and boys should wear dress shirts and pants. Women and young ladies should wear dresses/skirts that cover the knee or dress pants. If you do not have adequate attire for worship, please come in your best, as we are coming before the King of the Universe. At all times, please avoid immodest shorts, sleeveless, tight or low-cut clothing. Also, women and young ladies should cover their heads during worship, and men are to leave their heads uncovered (1Cor. 11:6-7).

Ministry Rules

Yahweh’s Restoration Ministry asks all who attend to respect our doctrines and not purposely spread discord. Our teachings and worship are in the Names Yahweh and Yahshua only. The Feast is a time to worship and to enjoy the company of like-minded believers, not to engage in doctrinal disputes. If you have a different belief from our Statement of Beliefs, we ask that you discuss it with only YRM’s ministers.

We pray that you will make plans NOW to join us for these special times. The time of reflection and spiritual growth during the 2023 Passover Feast of Unleavened Bread will be a blessing for all in attendance! May Yahweh bless you in your desire to serve Him!

Biblical Definitions of Leavening:

Seor: A piece of highly fermented or acidic dough or any other grain-derived leavening product that might be used to leaven dough, much like our own sourdough starter.

Chemets: Any grain derived food product that has been leavened by seor, i.e., a leavening agent, whether that be natural or chemical. The primary example would be leavened bread, but it would also include items that may not resemble bread but contain both grain and a leavening agent.
