Dad’s surgery was successful! He had a 5 hour long quadruple bypass. His appendix is being tamed by antibiotics and will need to be removed at a later time, but the biggest (unknown, until recently) problem has been addressed. We are overwhelmed with the prayers for our daddy️ He is such a bright light in so many peoples lives, and I don’t think he even realized it until this last week.
We are currently waiting for him to wake up- I don’t think I could have prepared myself to see him in the state he’s in. It’s so hard to see your best friend and daddy hooked up to every wire and vent possible, but Yahweh graciously is letting him stay with us a little longer. With fervent prayer, here he is- alive and at the beginning of a long road to recovery.
