E-news Lives Again, and Just in Time!

With this report we are again publishing our weekly E-news.  The E-news keeps our members and supporters abreast of the latest ministry happenings, including progress in outeach, news of the Feasts, publication announcements, and future plans.

Since the 2018 Feast of Tabernacles we have been working tirelessly on several extensive outreach projects as well as renovations at our facility at Holts Summit. Get all the details in this E-news.

Second Floor Conversion

For years the upper room at the east end of the meeting hall has been vacant. It was once used as an audio recording studio until the studio was moved to the TV operations center. It will now serve during services as extra seating for parents with young children in a windowed balcony. This will also help free up seating space in the meeting hall during Feasts and special events.

Kitchen Is Expanding

Having finished the YRM activities and lodging building we are now working on renovating our main kitchen. Our goal is for a more commercial facility for use mainly during the Feasts. Many of the appliances were purchased at a sale in St. Louis where we were able to save tens of thousands of dollars by buying used. For example, a Hobart convection oven and a Traulsen roll-in refrigerator were acquired at a fraction of the price of new. Also, we intend to do most of the labor ourselves in an effort to economize. A conservative estimate of renovation costs is $18,500. If you would like to help with these expenses you can donate through the YRM app (either tap the “Give” function tab or the “Support this ministry” section on the main page) or in any of the ways listed below.

RT Now in Full Color

Enhancements to the Restoration Times (RT) magazine are keeping up with the many ongoing improvements in our web site (yrm.org). For the past two issues the RT has gone full color. We strive for excellence in biblical teaching along with a desire to present Yahweh’s truths as attractively as possible in all of our outreach endeavors.

TEST YOUR TUTELAGE

How does a tree branch reveal “Yahshua” as the Savior’s Name in the Old Testament?
A. It grows out of Yahweh’s Name (Yah-shua/Yah-weh)
B. His Name is a strong tower, not a branch
C. The name Joshua (Yahshua) in the Old Testament is called a Branch.
D. There is no connection.

Zechariah 6:12 connects the same name of two men. It says that “Joshua…whose name is the BRANCH, will build the temple of Yahweh and will rule upon His throne.” Only the Son Yahshua fulfills that role as He branches out into other roles. This passage shows that Joshua as high priest (3:1-5) and Yahshua share the same name. In the Hebrew they are both “Yahshua.”

Answer: C
