As I was reading the scriptures I noticed something that I had not noticed before from Luke 22:19 and 1 Corinthians 11:24 (and possibly Acts 18:21). Luke and 1 Corinthians both speak about the last supper. In Luke, Yahshua tells his disciples to, “do this in remembrance of me”. This statement is quoted by Paul in 1 Corinthians. I noticed that this directive is THE ONLY TIME that Yahshua tells us directly to do something in “remembrance of him”. He does not tell us to observe Easter in remembrance of his resurrection.
